Campo Galego features one of SIMBAV’s contributors

We at the SIMBAV Task Force would like to share a featured article on the online publication Campo Galego, which includes an interview with one of the project’s contributors on the environmental and economic benefits of managing poultry waste directly on farms.

The article highlights how by-products such as chicken manure and turkey manure, traditionally regarded as an environmental challenge in areas with high livestock density, can be turned into useful resources through energy recovery and technological processes. In this context, it mentions the role of SIMBAV in transforming these wastes into biofuels and natural fertilisers, thereby contributing to more sustainable and efficient production in the poultry sector.
